Our upcoming Minuteman MM1 Entry Level Wrist Watch Models

0

First we want to point out we are not taking orders for these currently. Minuteman Watch Co has not set final pricing as of yet. In fact we don’t know if we will able to bring these models to market in 2014. We would like to have them just in time for Christmas 2013.

Based on much feedback and we think lessons learned. It appears that many would like to see a range of lower priced models from our Minuteman brand which are also smaller and will fit both men and woman.

The width on these upcoming Minuteman watch models is 38.5mm. Many modern ladies watches are of a similar size. This also the sort of size one would find in a traditional sized men’s watch. Which means these will work well with people that have a smaller wrist size or for those that simply prefer a smaller more traditional sized wrist watch.

We were only planning on offering these in three dial colors all in a brushed stainless finish. However our designer has sent a version in black PVD and in our view it looks very good.

These upcoming models will be water resistant to 330 feet. The crystals will be sapphire. The movement will be a Seiko quartz. These will come with a rugged aviator style leather strap which we hope will last longer than a leather strap typically would.

Like our current Minuteman models these models will also be built and tested in the United States.

To kick these off we are currently planning on running these on a crowd funding site like Kickstarter. Pricing has not been set as of yet but we would expect that the intro price will be under $300. for the brushed stainless steel models.

Each of these watches will ship with the same American made padded zipper cases our more expensive models currently come with.

We had planned on offering these in 3 dial colors black, blue, and white. However we feel the white dial with lume will be hard to read and that the white will be over powering. As such we are considering a few other colors. If we do offer the white dial we have decided those will have black numeral which means those would not be luminous.

While we had planned to only offer 3 versions of this upcoming Minuteman series all in brushed stainless steel. We are impressed with the way the renderings look in black PVD. Thus if the demand is there way my offer black PVD versions of these as well. Which would mean these would be available in 6 versions.

Please feel free to share your thoughts about this upcoming design by emailing us at minutemanwatch@frontier.com with any questions or comments.
